與同事共同參與的興達電廠國際競圖。面對過去未曾接觸的電廠類型,設計從理解基地、既有設施與基礎建設的關係開始,也成為一次跨出熟悉領域的嘗試

Developed with colleagues for the Hsing Ta Power Plant international competition, the proposal began by examining an unfamiliar building type and the relationships between the site, its existing facilities, and the infrastructure that supports them.


方案將新設施視為地景的一部分,透過地形塑造與地下保水等基礎設施介入基地,思考新設計如何與舊電廠共存,而非以單一建築物取代既有環境

Rather than treating the new facilities as isolated objects, the proposal positioned them as part of a broader landscape system. Landform and subsurface water-retention infrastructure became design instruments through which new interventions could coexist with the existing power plant.

負責設計與 3D Render,使用 Rhino 與 OctaneRender 進行方案發展及視覺呈現。提案最終未獲選,後續比較其他競圖方案時,也意識到團隊對電廠議題與整體系統的理解仍過於單純;這次落選因而成為一次直接且重要的經驗

Responsibilities included design development and 3D visualization using Rhino and OctaneRender. Although the proposal was not selected, reviewing the other entries revealed where the team’s understanding of power-plant operations and larger infrastructural systems had been oversimplified. The competition became a valuable exercise in recognizing the depth of an unfamiliar design problem.
