LoopFlow 是一套以 Rhino 為核心的半自動化設計工作流。它不是試圖取代設計者,也不是另一套封閉式 BIM 系統,而是在保留 Rhino 自由建模能力的前提下,建立一條由資料驅動的設計連續流程。
在傳統工作方式中,設計修改往往伴隨大量重複更新:模型、圖面、標註、圖號、Render 資料需要分別維護。LoopFlow 透過物件資料追蹤與同步機制,將這些重複性工作交由系統處理,但保留人的判斷與控制。
設計者仍然決定如何建模、哪些內容需要自動化、哪些部分維持人工調整。LoopFlow 的目的不是讓設計流程完全無人化,而是讓人從繁瑣的維護工作中釋放,將注意力重新放回設計本身。
核心流程由 R2B(Rhino to Blender)與 R2O(Rhino to Octane)延伸而成。同一套模型資料可以向不同方向流動:在 Rhino 中完成設計後,透過 R2B 進入 Blender 進行即時同步與後製,或透過 R2O 連結 OctaneRender 進行高品質影像製作。模型、相機、燈光與物件位置不再是孤立資料,而成為同一套設計資訊的不同呈現方式。
LoopFlow 建立的是一條連續的設計鏈:由設計者創造,由系統整理,由不同工具延伸。自動化不是取代人的流程,而是讓人的決策能夠更自由地流動。
LoopFlow is a Rhino-based semi-automated design workflow. It is not another BIM system, nor does it attempt to replace the designer. Instead, it preserves Rhino’s freedom of modeling while establishing a continuous, data-driven workflow between design, documentation, and visualization.
In a traditional workflow, every design change creates a chain of repetitive tasks: updating models, drawings, annotations, sheet information, and rendering data separately. LoopFlow introduces object-based data tracking and synchronization to handle these repetitive operations while keeping human decisions at the center of the process.
Designers remain in control: they decide how to model, which parts should be automated, and which parts should remain manually adjusted. LoopFlow is not designed to remove human involvement, but to reduce unnecessary maintenance work and return focus to the design itself.
The workflow extends through R2B (Rhino to Blender) and R2O (Rhino to Octane), allowing the same design information to flow across different environments. A model created in Rhino can continue into Blender for real-time synchronization and post-production, or into OctaneRender for high-quality visualization. Models, cameras, lighting, and object positions are no longer isolated assets, but different expressions of the same design data.
LoopFlow creates a continuous design chain: created by the designer, organized by the system, and extended through different tools. Automation is not a replacement for creativity. It is a framework that allows design decisions to move more freely.
